01 / MAKE IT FAMILIAR
A picture from their world.
Add a photo and a short voice recording. Preview them together, then approve the card when it feels right.
FAMILIAR WORDS. LITTLE WONDERS.
The cup they love. The people they know. Turn familiar photos and your own voice into gentle learning moments, at your child’s pace.
Parent-led. No scores. No rush.
START WITH THEIR EVERYDAY
Learning moments can start with the things already in your child’s world. A favourite toy. A family face. A word you say together every day.
With OWC, you choose the picture, record the word and decide when it appears. The technology stays in the background. The familiar stays in front.
A SMALL ROUTINE, MADE BY YOU
No library of strangers required.
Just a few things your child knows.
01 / MAKE IT FAMILIAR
Add a photo and a short voice recording. Preview them together, then approve the card when it feels right.
02 / FIND YOUR RHYTHM
Choose the cards, spacing and permitted times. Pair an Android child device and start learning when you’re ready.
03 / MAKE A LITTLE MOMENT
During supported video playback, OWC pauses the video before showing the picture and playing your recording. Play resumes only when you choose.
TAKE A LITTLE LOOK
Keep things simple or add a friendly train or animal theme. The picture and the word are still the stars.
Silent website illustration, not a live device session. Train, Animals and Reduce motion are included in the latest Android pilot build; device testing is underway.
Your own recording plays here in the app.
Ready when you are.
THEIR PACE, NOT A RACE
You choose the starting point.
No tests to pass. No level to unlock.
One familiar picture, paired with your voice. A small invitation to notice a word. There’s no answer required.
Available in the current pilot
Hear a word and choose between two pictures. Another try is welcome. So is closing the card.
Try it: can you find the ball?

A LITTLE SPACE FOR PARENTS
Manage your family’s cards and routines from a browser—including on your iPhone. The companion app runs on your child’s Android phone or tablet.
GENTLE BY DESIGN
Close a card. Stop a session. Leave the video paused.
OWC makes space for the child and the parent—not a score, a streak or a race to the next level.
GOOD QUESTIONS
OWC is in a private pilot.
We’re taking it one careful step at a time.
The child companion is for Android. The picture-and-voice flow has been tested on a Samsung Galaxy A52 5G with Android 14, using YouTube and streamed Netflix. That is not a promise of compatibility with every device, game or app. The parent dashboard works in a web browser, including on an iPhone.
No. In supported video playback, the video pauses before the card appears and stays paused after the card closes. You or your child choose when to press Play. Paused playback and browsing do not count towards the video-learning interval.
Yes. You choose a photo, add a short recording, preview the card and approve it. For connected devices, you explicitly publish content through the parent dashboard. Use pictures and recordings you have permission to use.
Connected-family profiles and media use our existing Firebase services, with the database and private media bucket configured in London. Content is also downloaded to the paired child device for playback. It is not local-only storage. The public website demo uses illustrations and does not access your account.
No. OWC is a parent-led educational tool for picture and word activities, not a diagnostic tool, clinical assessment or replacement for professional care. We do not promise speech or developmental outcomes. Parents choose the activity level; there is no automatic judgement of a child’s ability.
OWC is currently an invitation-only Android pilot, not a public app-store release. Existing pilot families can use their current parent dashboard and the installation details shared with them. Public sign-up, pricing and download details have not been announced.
